FireEye Bezel Design
Driven Innovation has been a longtime partner with FireEye, designing and managing bezel projects from their earlier days. Here is a bezel design that I personally made for one of their newer cyber security chassis. We built it to fit onto a standard 19in rack with a 2U height. It was a fun challenge to get familiar with rack product standards and to make sure tolerancing is in line to make the fit tight and the product easy to install.
We worked hard to make the bezel have a very clean look and be easily manufactured. It is based off an entire design language we created for several of their rack products. We worked to ensure that the venting area was open enough and did not restrict airflow to the devices within the main chassis.
I also made these renders of the label and bezel shown below to help with the label graphics design, so the language is consistent between products. Take a look at Driven Innovation's portfolio to see more examples of our label design.
